Congratulations to Brittany & the Suburbs Alliance

Sunday's Detroit Free Press included a big story announcing that the Michigan Suburbs Alliance's Brittany Galisdorfer will be honored as a winner of the prestigeous Shining Light Regional Cooperation Award. Brittany, a project manager at the MSA and the second person I brought on board there, will receive the Dave Bing Future Leader Award for her exceptional work with the Suburbs Alliance in running the new Southeast Michigan Energy Office and the Cool Cities Intership Program. Brittany embodies what our region's strategy for economic transformation should be about: regional collaboration that leverages our assets to attract/retain the people and investment we need to grow.
